Leadership Styles
Authoritarian (autocratic) leadership: The leader tells his or her employees what to do and how to do it. He or she can get their advice but does not let them decide.
Participative (democratic) l. - the leader includes employees in the decision-making process, but the leader maintains the final decision-making authority.
Liberal - the leader allows the employees to make the decisions without his or her mediation.

- Responsibilities. Who is most responsible for the task?
- Amount of time available
- Who has most information—you, the employees, or both?
- Are the employees competent, well trained?
