Regulations of the Conference

§1. General provisions                                                                                                                                            The Conference “Turn Over a New Leaf. Innovations, Pseudo-Innovations and Corporate Social Responsibility for the Future”, hereinafter referred to as the "Conference" will be held on June 13, 2020 at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University, located at 4 Łojasiewicza Street in Krakow.

1.1. The hosts of the Conference are: the Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University, the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management, the Student Government of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication and "Strateg" Student Research Group. 1.2. A participant is a person who wishes to participate in the Conference in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations. 1.3 The provisions of these Regulations apply to all participants and form an integral part of the application for participation. 1.4 The participants' reports on the topics related to the theme of the event will be held during the Conference. 1.5 The official website of the Conference can be found at: http://jacko.econ.uj.edu.pl/Konf/IdealizedDesign/9/

§2. Participation in the Conference:                                                                                                                                2.1 Participation in the Conference is free of charge. 2.2 The number of people participating in the Conference is limited. 2.3 The condition for the participation in the Conference is the registration accomplished by May 30, 2020 by means of completing the application form provided in the invitation as well as on the event website. This applies to both active and passive participants. 2.4 The host is not responsible for providing incorrect or false data by the participant during registration for the Conference. 2.5 An active participant may deliver his speech in Polish or English. 2.6 The presented works must not infringe upon the copyrights, legal and material interests of third parties in accordance with the Act on copyright and related rights adopted on February 4, 1994 (Journal of Laws No. 24, item 83, upon amendment). 2.7 The participant may resign from participation in the Conference by means of notifying the host about it at the latest one week prior to the Conference’s date. 2.8 People in the state of intoxication or people behaving in a way that could threaten the safety of other participants and hosts, as well as those who disturb the order of the event, violate generally accepted norms of behavior in public places are not allowed to the Conference. 2.9 Participants bear full material responsibility for their damages at the premises where the Conference will take place.

§3 Host's rights and obligations           3.1 The host sets the Conference Program and reserves the right to change it, even on the day of the Conference, including the right to change the time schedule and order of reports. 3.2 The host has the right to change the provisions of the Regulations. 3.3 The host reserves the right to exclude participants who violate any of the provisions of these Regulations from participation in the Conference. 3.4 The host reserves the right to cancel the Conference in case of random events. 3.5 The host is not responsible for the participant's belongings left in the cloakroom. 3.6 The host is not responsible for the participant's belongings that might be lost, destroyed or stolen during the Conference. 3.7 The hosts are not responsible for any loss of property or loss of participant’s health at the Conference which is not attributable to them.                                                                                      

§4 Consent to use the image                                                                                                     4.1 During the Conference, the host may conduct photo sessions and film its course for the purposes of documentation, information and promotion of the host and of the Conference itself. 4.2 By participating in the Conference one expresses his or her consent to free, unlimited in terms of quantity, time or territory use, processing, reproduction and multiple dissemination of the participant's images recorded in the photos taken during the Conference for informational and promotional purposes without a need to approve them each time. The consent above thereby implicates that the photographs and recordings (including live video reports) taken during the Conference may be posted on the Internet and the social networks of the Conference.

§5 Final Provisions                                                                                                                                                            5.1 Sending the application by means of the registration form placed on the Conference website means the acceptance of the provisions of these Regulations, as well as the compliance with order Regulations and all other arrangements made between the participant and the host. 5.2 The host reserves the right to amend the Regulations of the Conference and is obliged to publish the current information on the Conference website. 5.3 The Conference is an event with restricted access and does not constitute a mass event as defined in the Act on the security of mass events adopted on March 23, 2009 (Journal of Laws 2009 No. 62, item 504). 5.4 The host reserves the right to use the e-mail address provided during registration for the Conference to notify the participants, among others about changes in the Conference Program, Regulations and to send invitations to subsequent editions of the Conference. 5.5 In matters not covered by these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
