4th International Scientific Conference on Idealized Design:
Designing Morals, Habits and Mores - Theory and Practice

The aim of the conference is to discuss issues of designing and stimulating changes in morality, habits and mores of societies. Lectures (in English) and discussions (in English or Polish) are planed. This event is part of the scientific conference series "Morality Design in Management Science".

Conference is financed by the Institute of Economics, Finance and Management of the Jagiellonian University. There is no conference fee.

A reviewed publication is planned. Papers (in the APA style, up to 12 pages - 20 000 signs) should be sent to 379(at)wp.pl before September 30, 2015 .

Registration

You can register your lecture until May 15, 2015. Suggested focus areas:

  1. Morality and rationality of actions and organizations.
  2. Theoretical assumptions of morality designs.
  3. Paradoxes and antinomies the exemplary projects of morality.
  4. Utopias on human formation.
  5. Changes of habits and mores in consumer societies.
  6. Projects of morality according to ethical liberalism, neoliberalism, ordoliberalism etc.
  7. Sustainable development and hierarchies of values.
  8. Directions of current changes in morality, mores and habits.
  9. Designing moral sensitivity.

Abstracts (1 page, A4 size, 2000 - 4000 characters, at about 7 minutes) with bibliography (any volume, it is not added to the abstract volume) in English should also be send to: kluzek.natalia(at)gmail.com with your personal data (First Name, Last Name, Scientific or Professional Degree, Scientific or Professional affiliation).

The program of the conference will be updated on this webpage. Oral presentations should last 10 minutes. Persons who are qualified to the poster session should prepare posters in A0 size (891mm x 1189mm). Questions can be addressed to: natalia.kluzek(at)gmail.com.
